SURFS UP MISSOULA!!!
With the crazy weather this spring, high waters, and Brennan's wave being
nearly washed out for the last couple of weeks, many Missoula locals have
taken to the surf boards. After seeing Kevin slashin up the wave, KB
quickly ordered up a board and many followed, trying to improve their surf
or catching their first wave! Myself included, never surfed an ocean wave
before, we saw an opportunity to learn how to surf and an easy fix for our
craving to get in the water. Learning how to Surf in Missoula may be the
coolest thing since sliced bread!!!
Last Friday was International Go Surf Day and we did it right! The first
ever celebration in Missoula, MT!!! The weather was beautiful, music was
pumping, red bulls were flowing, beautiful women were enjoying some rays
(and the surfers), and a solid crowd came out to enjoy the days
festivities. A solid 15 surfers were rippin up the wave, catching some
sun, and pushing surfing in Missoula.
Entire days spent at the wave, multiple sessions throughout the day,
sessions before and after work, Missoula has developed its very own surf
scene! Locals Only!!! Thanks to Kevin and KB for pushing the movement,
Jason at NSP for the hook up, and Kyle at Red Bull for providing the
beverages and music!
