TOTAL FEST VII
Wäntage USA and KBGA team up to bring Total Fest VII!
Who: 40+ original, independent bands + fans from Missoula and the region!
What: a three-day, DIY independent music festival
When: August 14-16, 2008, 8PM sharp each night, 12PM-2:00PM Record Swap Aug. 16 at Big Dipper Ice Cream
Where: the Badlander/Palace in Missoula, and Big Dipper Ice Cream (Saturday Record Swap)
How much: $35 3-Day passes for 18+, $25 two-day (Fri.-Saturday) passes for all-ages.
Total Fest aspires to be three days of the most memorable music that fans will see all year. The event organizers volunteer their time, money and sanity to ensure the event goes well and that bands are appreciated and that fans get more than their money’s worth. Total Fest is nonprofit and all proceeds after fixed costs go to our bands. Total Fest features some well-known bands, some lesser-known, and a handful of new and obscure music from around the country. Our tastes are varied and we are proud of the country, pop, singer-songwriter acts we feature, in addition to the preponderance of heavy/metal/punk that seems to bubble its way up. Please feel free to help spread the word, and be in touch!
Notable at Total Fest VII:
□ Friday and Saturday nights will be ALL-AGES welcomed, Thursday night will be 18-plus;
□ Country heroine Lana Rebel will use Total Fest VII as the release show for her new album;
□ Legendary west coast heavy rocker Federation X will use Total Fest VII as their only show of 2008;
□ Long-disbanded Montana hardcore legends Disgruntled Nation will use Total Fest VII for a one-time reunion;
□ Alternative Tentacles bands Akimbo (Seattle) and Triclops! (San Francisco) will play;
